Midway thru

Really fun show last night, replete with the sort of debauchery I've been expecting. The show was organized by this guy Lord Bishop, a musician from New York. He's a wild character who is good at surrounding himself with other wild characters, so of course he loves NovakSeen. He sort of ex-patriated himself 18 months ago, and has had good success in eastern Germany promoting his and other bands.

The club, called the Tittie Twister, is decorated like the movie From Dusk til Dawn. It's a bit larger than Mercury Lounge in NYC, and has professional quality equipment. I was able to take notice for a moment where I was and what I was doing, to kinda stop and smell the roses. Looking at the drumset reflecting the different colored lights, seeing Travis all sweaty jumping around, Noli being the dominatrix that she is, the shadows of the crowd dancing and headbanging. Playing drums when they're mic'ed well gives a feeling of real power. The bass drum itself sounds and feels like an explosion. Put all this together with playing fun music well, and it's euphoric. There's so much adrenaline, so much kinetic energy, you're so focused and connected to your surroundings, it's the purest and most intense state of being I've ever felt.

Lord Bishop's band took the stage after us, and we moshed along. He got Noli to come up onstage with him to sing "You Got a Great Ass". It was a freak show, literally. Lord Bishop is not afraid to show his sexuality, and Noli doesn't know how to give less than 100%. They were great together, sleezy and flirtatious, aggressive and ferocious.

Noli with Lord Bishop's band the Rockadelic Kings. That's Chicken Rock playing the drums.
Noli and the Rockadelics tearing it up.
We're on the way to Wittenburg. The itinerary changes almost hourly, but as long as we have a show, I don't care where it is.
The first sun we've sen in a while, somewhere in eastern Germany.

Until next time,
