Two steps forward, one step back

After the spectacular rock 'n' roll event at the Tittie Twister last night, we traveled to Wittenburg to play what was essentially a high school talent show. I don't know if we won or not, because by the time we took the stage, it was past the judges bedtime.

Noli and Jerry both have colds, and Noli was getting very worried about her voice. We waffled back and forth or a while, trying to decide whether we should play, or just move on to the next town. We were added to this bill at the last minute since our other show was canceled (of course). The kids were a little resentful of our presence, but were polite enough.

I couldn't get over this one kid, the drummer for the headlining band. He was about 17, had long hair and wore a headset mic, a combination which made him look like the drummer from Hanson. He might have been going for that look, I don't know. He had this gargantuan, really expensive drumkit that I had to play on, but the drumheads were so old and the kit so spread out, it didn't really sound very good. Anyway, his band plays their set, and when they're done, Hanson's girlfriend comes onstage and they make out for like 10 minutes. Go for it, kid.

Noli giving it up for the kinder.
Come on guys, let's hurry up, I'm missing Algebra class.

Another night in the Etap, the hotel with a squeegee instead of a toilet seat. Tomorrow we venture to the Czech Republic, something we've all been looking forward to.

Ciao (hey, everybody says that here, I'm not being pretentious, I swear),
